Create Relationships between two records
Creating the Relationships between two distinct record types using the Consultation Manager ID
System Role: Enterprise Admin
Records can be linked to each other using the relational importer, but the records must already be present in your database to utilize a relational import. The connection is established through the unique ID assigned to each record in your database.
Select from the two Entities that you want to establish a relationship between and click 'continue'.
Please note: Complaints in the screenshot is a custom Entity name and may not be represented in your Consultation Manager.
You can download a template from this step that includes the ID headings for the two Entities. After inserting the IDs into your CSV, you can either drag and drop or browse to upload your CSV file containing the relationship IDs.
Use the drop down selector for each Entity to assign the column that contains your Consultation Manager ID.
At this stage any relationship ID issues will be highlighted, move your mouse over the issue to be provided with information related to the issue.
Options are available to assist in identifying Errors via the three-dot menu, and you can also export Validation Errors to aid in recognizing and correcting any issues in bulk.
You can also choose to bypass any Validation Errors entirely.
Review the relationships that will be created and click 'Run Import' to begin.
The screen will refresh to display the progress as the relationships are established.
Once your import is finished, a summary of the successful operation will be displayed.
