Bulk add records to a Distribution List
How to bulk add records to a Distribution List using the batch tool
System Role: Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you may be required to bulk-add records to a Distribution List for your Users.
Bulk adding the records using the Batch tool.
Click 'Tools' in the top menu bar.
Click 'Batch Operations'
Click 'New'
You will need to initially 'Search' for and identify all the records you want to modify first before executing any modifications.
The search function works identically to that in your normal workspace.
Open the drop-down menu and select the Operation to Perform 'Modify'
Scroll down on the left until you find 'Distribution List.
Add your Distribution List and also change the 'Field Action' to the appropriate choice for your circumstances.
We recommend Amend List item/s which adds to the existing Distribution Lists and won't remove any that already exist for this record.
Once you are satisfied you have the correct Distribution List click 'Execute' to run the modification.
