How to Restrict a Classification
Provides the steps to restrict or unrestrict existing or new Classifications to one or more Projects.
Required System Role: Enterprise Administrator
It may be necessary to restrict specific Classifications to a particular Project or Projects for several reasons. For example, a Classification might only be relevant to a specific Project and utilising it in other Projects could adversely impact reporting accuracy.
There are two methods to do so; the first, via Enterprise Management Settings, is the preferred method.

- Scroll down and select 'Save Changes'.

- A pop-up box will confirm the changes have been saved.

Please note: Following restriction, some Tags may display as invalid if they are related to Projects no longer able to use those Tags, however, the Tag will not be removed from existing records.

- If you'd like to remove from one or multiple Projects, select the down arrow.

- Untick the Project(s) as applicable.

- A pop-up box will confirm the changes have been saved.

How to restrict a Classification via Project record (Legacy Version)
Classification Visibility Warning: Changes here may impact Classification visibility across other Projects. If assigning a “Shared to All” Classification to this Project, it will remove visibility from other Projects. If unsure, please contact the Consultation Manager Support Team.
- Select 'Search'.

- Select 'Projects' and open the applicable Project.

- Select the Classifications tab.

- When restricting Classifications, select the arrow for the dropdown to expand.

- Tick these on or off based on whether you’d like to see this as an option for any records related to this Project. Note: Classifications marked as "Shared to All" won’t appear as ticked here. This doesn’t mean they’re unavailable for this Project. You don’t need to tick them, doing so will limit the Classification to this Project only. Please check via the Enterprise Management Settings prior to edits here.

- If you tick any Headings, it will automatically select all Tags under this. You can avoid this by only ticking the Tags underneath applicable, or unticking the ones not required.

- When you’ve completed this, make sure to select Save for the changes to take place.

- Ensure you wait for the Success box to pop up to confirm these have been saved.

Follow the above steps to also remove Classifications from Projects by unticking applicable Classifications.
