AI Email Summaries
AI Email Summaries help you quickly understand the intent, key points, and required actions from emails, without needing to read every message in full.
There are two ways emails are summarised, depending on your system settings:

Automatically Processed Emails
- Emails processed via the Consultation Manager Inbox
Automatically Processed Emails
Automatically processed emails are summarised by AI as soon as they enter the system, without any manual action required.
How it works

Incoming emails are automatically detected by the platform.

The email content is securely analysed by AI.

A concise summary is generated and attached to the email record.
- When a user opens an email event they will be able to view the summary tagged as "AI Generated".
- Upon editing of the summary the "AI Generated" Tag will disappear.
Manually Processed Emails
Manually processed emails are summarised only when a user explicitly asks for a summary via the Consultation Manager Email Inbox.
How to Generate an Email Summary
- Select the Email you would like to process from your Email Inbox.
- Above the Summary section, select the 'Generate Summary' button
- Wait a few seconds while the summary is being generated.
⚠️ Do not navigate away from the page during this step. - Once generated, the summary will appear in the email Summary section. You can manually edit the summary to refine or correct any details.
- Proceed with standard email processing from this point
