Provides the process for using AI Email Summaries and Classification Auto-Tagging to streamline the Inbound Email processing workflow

AI Email Summaries and Classification Auto-Tagging reduce manual effort during email processing, ensuring consistent metadata application, and improving the clarity and structure of Stakeholder communication records.

Designed for Users who manage high volumes of email correspondence, these features streamline initial email review and automate classification tasks, enhancing both speed and data quality during Event creation.


AI Email Summaries

An opt-in tool which produces a summary of the email body content in the Summary field of the Event.

How to Generate an Email Summary

  1. Select the Email you would like to process from your Email Inbox.1-Jul-25-2025-04-52-01-5757-AM
  2. Above the Summary section, select the 'Generate Summary' button2-Jul-25-2025-04-52-16-5317-AM
  3. Wait a few seconds while the summary is being generated.

    ⚠️ Do not navigate away from the page during this step.
  4. Once generated, the summary will appear in the email Summary section. You can manually edit the summary to refine or correct any details. 3-Jul-25-2025-04-55-28-3371-AM
  5. Proceed with standard email processing from this point

Classification Auto-Tagging

The Auto-Tag feature helps you quickly and consistently classify emails by automatically applying tags based on keywords found in the email body.

How to Use Auto-Tagging When Processing Emails

  1. Select the email you want to process from your Email Inbox.1-Jul-25-2025-04-52-01-5757-AM
  2. Locate and click the 'Auto-Tag' button above the Issues / Topics field.AT 2
  3. Wait a few seconds while the tags are being generated. Consultation Manager will scan the email body for keywords and match them to configured classifications.

    ⚠️ Do not navigate away from the page during this step.
  4. Once the tags appear, review them to ensure they are relevant.AT 3
  5. Manually adjust if needed. You can edit, add, or remove any tags before processing the email.

    If your system is set to Auto-Tag by default, Step 2 and 3 will happen automatically. This setting can be changed by your Enterprise Administrator.
