This article will show you how to create, save and export a new report using the Insight Builder.

Creating a New Report
To generate a new report in the Insight Builder, first navigate to Reports (1), then Insight Builder.
This page will display all previously created reports. To create a new report, select Create New Module (3)
Choosing Module type
In the pop-up window, you can select which entity you will be running a report on; Stakeholder, Properties or Events (1). If you are not sure, and want to see a full list of all available reports, select ‘Not Sure’ (2). Once you have made your selection, press Continue.
Choosing chart type
On this page, you will see all the available chart types for your data. This may include Donut, Line, or Bar & Column charts. For more information on each type of chart, see here <>. You can change the view between grid and list in the top right corner (1). Once you have made your selection, press Continue.
Customising your Report
Next, you can change the Module Name and the Description.
Note: You can also amend this later in the ‘Layout’ section.
Once you select Continue, you will be shown the chart with default settings. You can switch between the module Data and Layout setting on the left side (1). The settings available with vary depending on which type of chart you are generating. As you change the settings, you will see the chart graphics change dynamically. Please note if you set the period to a custom date, the insight report will no longer be dynamic.
Finalising the Report
Once you have chosen your preferred Data and Layout settings, you can Create Report (1) in the top right. You should see a ‘Success’ notification appear in the top right of the screen. Your report is now saved in the system, and will appear in the Insight Builder homepage shown at the beginning of this article.
Exporting the Report
Insight Reports can be exported as an Image (PNG/JPEG/SVG Vector) or a PDF. Click Export (1) and then select from the dropdown (2). The exported file will appear in your computer’s Download folder.
If you amend any fields in the report, you can save the changes by selecting Save Report in the top right of the screen (which replaces the Create Report button).
Note: This will overwrite the previous settings of the report, and cannot be undone.
