๐Ÿ“Š Understanding Email Statistics

This guide will summarise the statistics displayed for all email campaigns, touching on the different counts & recipient statuses.

Required System Role: Standard User

Required Team Role: Editor and Comms Contributor 

To view your email campaign statistics following the sending of your campaign, click the Stats button adjacent to your campaign from the Email Campaigns list.

 

This will open the statistics page for the selected campaign.

๐Ÿ”ข Statistics Cards

The general and advanced statistics cards provide a breakdown of your campaign's general performance:

 

General Statistics

  • Recipients: How many unique recipients we attempted to send your campaign to.

  • Delivered: How many emails were successfully delivered as part of this campaign.

  • Opened: How many unique recipients opened your campaign.

  • Clicked: How many unique recipients clicked content (e.g.: links/buttons) within your campaign.

  • Failed: How many emails failed to deliver.

  • Unsubscribed: How many recipients chose to unsubscribe from your communications from this campaign.

Advanced Statistics

  • Success Rate: The percentage of emails successfully delivered to your recipients from the total emails sent.

  • Total Opened: How many total opens occurred for your campaign (this includes the same recipient opening your email multiple times).

  • Total Clicked: How many total clicks occurred for your campaign (this includes the same recipient clicking the same element multiple times).

  • Click-Through: The percentage of delivered emails whose recipients also engaged with email content linked (e.g.: clicked links/buttons).

  • Dropped: How many emails were dropped (e.g.: Recipients who were sent to that had bounced, unsubscribed or reported abuse from previous campaigns).

  • Abuse Reports: How many recipients reported this campaign to our distributor for abuse.

๐Ÿงพ Recipients List

The Recipients List provides a summary of each recipient including their campaign status & number of clicks they triggered on your campaign.

Each recipient will display the latest campaign status we have recorded for them:

  • Delivered: Campaign has been delivered to this recipient.

  • Opened: Campaign has been delivered & opened by this recipient.

  • Unsubscribed: Campaign has been delivered and the recipient elected to unsubscribe from future communications.

  • Spam: Campaign has been delivered and the recipient elected to report it as spam.

  • Failed: Campaign has failed to deliver to this recipient.

  • Dropped: Campaign was not delivered as we previously failed to deliver to this recipient address, or they elected to unsubscribe from a previous campaign.

    Export Stats to CSV

    You are able to select the 3 dots and export to a CSV file. This will allow you to manage the recipient list and statistics in Excel.
