Update existing Records
Updating existing records using the Consultation Manager ID
System Role: Enterprise Admin
Records can have all values modified, fully refreshing an existing record while maintaining their current relationships to other Entities, or only empty values can be filled in, preserving any existing values.
Select a single Entity to update and click continue.
A template can be downloaded for the Entity at this stage if required, once ready drag and drop or browse to upload the CSV file.
Select the column from the CSV that contains the Consultation Manager IDs corresponding to the record to be updated.
Next choose either to 'Update all values' or Update all blank values only'.
Please note: Update all values will replace all existing information for the record, retaining existing relationships only.
Choose from the dropdown menu beside each data point to align the Consultation Manager field with the data in the CSV.
Utilize the checkbox beside each identified column from the CSV to either include or exclude columns from the CSV.
If the CSV is not a template downloaded from step 2, the column names may not automatically match, but you can preview the first three lines of data in the CSV by clicking 'Data Preview' at the end of each row to help identify the data.
In this step, verify the data to be updated by clicking inside any box to modify the data before it updates the records then click 'continue'.
Review the amount of records to be updated and click 'Run import' to proceed,
The Import in Progress will show that the import is progressing.
Once the update is finished, a summary of the successful operation will be displayed.
